Our beautiful and beloved Florence "Auntie Showie" passed away May 13th, 2017 after a seven-year battle with breast cancer.
She lived her entire life in Burien, WA and was devoted to her family and friends. She graduated in the top ten of her class both at Highline High school and Western Washington University, majoring in history and political science. Our beautiful and beloved Florence "Auntie Showie" passed away May 13th, 2017 after a seven-year battle with breast cancer.
She lived her entire life in Burien, WA and was devoted to her family and friends. She graduated in the top ten of her class both at Highline High school and Western Washington University, majoring in history and political science. She had a brilliant mind and was an accomplished business-woman. She was also a trailblazer as one of the first female director's as worldwide treasury for Panasonic Avionics Corporation. She was a generous volunteer in the Young Democrats, an ambassador for the United Way Campaign and taught CCD at St Francis of Assisi.

Florence had many interests and talents. She loved sports, old movies, and going to the "Muckleshoots". Her devotion and friendship to her mother Maria was lifelong. She was also an inspiration and support to her nieces and nephews sharing her love of travel, history, and her favorite activity -shopping! She loved the holidays especially Christmas and would decorate the most perfect tree and the family home.

She is preceded in death by her father Joseph and sister-in-law Mary and survived by her mother, Maria, sisters Luann (Rob) and Carol (John), brothers, Jerry (Mary Anne), Joe, John (Brendan) and Anthony, ten nieces and nephews Tami, Derek (Angela), Jason (Kenzie), Jeff (Megan), Patrick (Kelly), Julia, Maria, Lukas, Regan, Dominick and 11 great nieces and nephews, Blake, Sam, Reece, Nick, Kate Sam, Alex, Mario, Macy, Lauren, Jane and four godchildren Linda DiPietro-McCloskey , David Rainey, Theresa Carpinito, and Julia D'Ambrosio.

A Rosary will be held on Monday, May 29th at Yarington's in White Center at 5pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St Francis of Assisi church in Burien, on Tuesday, May 30th at 10:30am, followed by a reception. The burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Seattle, at 3pm.

In 2007, Florence was the recipient of a kidney transplant lovingly donated by her brother-in-law John Marc Nagle.
